Reddit Traffic Increased After Digg Users Started to Digg Reddit
I was curious to see the Alexa stats for Reddit.com after Digg users started to vote for all submissions from Reddit’s account on the new Digg platform.
Just to remind you, Reddit has almost completelly took the front page i.e. Top News section of Digg.com a few days ago, and this was the main cause Digg decided to bring back the old engine which was used for selecting the content which is going to be promoted in Top News section. This is also good news for Digg users because it seems that their submissions and diggs have some value again.
However, there are still some stories submitted by Reddit which are geting promoted in Top News section on Digg because Digg users are continuing to vote for those stories.
All this hype has brought a significant increase of traffic on Reddit.com.
If you watch closely at Alexa traffic information for Reddit.com, you will see that there is a 31% increase of traffic for Reddit.com in last 7 days.
