First Major Changes on Digg’s New Platform Expected This Week
I was thinking that all this Reddit thing on Digg is going to be over pretty soon but today is the third day since Reddit has started to rule on the Digg’s frontpage.
It seems that Digg has done some fixes on their algorithm which choses which stories are going to hit Top News section but the most of Digg’s community continues it’s rebellion against the new version of Digg.
Reddit’s profile has now more than 8.000 followers on new Digg and it continues to rule the Top News section. Every link submitted by Reddit is getting hundreds of Diggs.
The most of Diggs most active users are following Reddit now while they wait for fixes to come on the new Digg’s platform. The founder of Digg, Kevin Rose has promissed that they will bring back the most of the old Digg functionality but will keep the backend of the new version.
This week we should see some first major changes of the new version and I hope everyone should be satisfied with those changes, users, publishers and the staff of Digg.
