Why There is no Google Category on Digg.com?
Recently, we all have heard the news that Google started to sell Nexus One mobile phone, also they created Buzz, and they started a few of other activities on different fields.
I was watching the Technology section on Digg.com and a long time ago I found that there are categories reserved for news about Apple and Microsoft and it is not hard to conclude why. I really believe that Apple and Microsoft done enough for the world of technology and they deserve to have their own categories on Digg.com but If Apple and Microsoft do deserve that privileges then, I am pretty much sure about that, Google deserves this too.
I look on this situation like this: What Apple or Microsoft have so they deserve their own categories on Digg.com and Google hasn’t?
When you do all the comparison, you’ll see that Google has almost everything what those two giants have and probably much more. Google has started its activity in hardware selling, they released Nexus One smartphone, they are starting their activity on creating Android OS for PCs, they have started their own browser Chrome, they already have a huge range of different services, all related to technology.
I am not blind fan of Google, neither I am fan of Apple or even Microsoft, but as a guy who spends a lot of time on Digg I do believe that Google has done enough for technology and they spread in a very different fields and it would be really nice and useful for Digg users that Google get its own category there on Digg.com.
UPDATE:
I see my article became pretty popular, I am really sorry I didn’t write this better, I could do it but I was in hurry while writing this, so I believe readers will understand… The point matters the most.
Also, I am still learning English and trying to improve it. When I saw that my article became popular on Digg I was really encouraged to continue with blogging here and I am sure I’ll write better in future. At the end this could really lead to some changes on Digg.com and that fact would be very encouraging for me to continue blogging about social media.

I agree and have noticed this myself, but I’m not bored and lame enough to write an article about it
Leave a star next to required fields in future
May be because its an internal decision of Digg? ))
4585341 - LOL
i thought of it too…can’t we do a petition campaign for including Google in Digg
You people really care about this? Geesh.
So should Darwin have their own category since 90% of the stories are about stupid people?
If you’re going to share your views you could at least make sure that your sentences flow:
“we all have heard the news about that Google”
“What Apple or Microsoft have so they deserve that category on Digg.com and Google doesn’t?”
“you’ll see that Google has almost everything what those two giants have and probably much more”
gt1987: I can barely ask where the restroom is in another language. Excellent writing for a non-native speaker. Everyone else: it’s a blog. If he wants to write about why pencils are yellow, fine. It’s a blog, not required reading.
Yeah, Google rocks and has enough news they could have their own category! I concur!
I don’t think companies should be a category, personally.
Because google is too big too fail lol.
There are more “news” and articles about microsoft and apple mainly because they have their own OS’s.
Agree w/ i love guitar, companies shouldn’t be a category
Mike, go make your own blog if you have such severe issues with the “flow of sentences”… seriously, who pee’d in your cereal this morning?
Great insightful blog post GT — Keep on blogging - and keepin’ it real.
personally, I got the feeling that digg deliberately avoided Google due to the leftist idea that an ever expanding corporation is inherently evil and greedy — but I doubt it — Since Kevin Rose is apparently a huge fan of Android and the Nexus 1.
Good luck on your future blogging!
Best,

Great article bud! And there is absolutely nothing wrong with your English.
Nice article. I digg it! Keep up the blogging.
