How to Properly Submit Link on Reddit.com?
It is pretty weird that there is a such popular social bookmarking website like Reddit.com where users have to ask a simple question like this. I plan to write later about how complicated Reddit can be but now I am just going to explain this issue about link submission which can be very irritating for new users.
Of course, there is a very simple method there on Reddit.com to submit a link, there is a huge ‘Submit link’ button and procedure is pretty similar as on every other social bookmarking website.
But, when you add your link to Reddit.com it doesn’t mean that it is immediately accepted and that it will became available to other users. The sad truth about Reddit.com is that a huge number of user submissions newer show up to other users, they act like they aren’t submitted at all.
There is a way to see if your link is really accepted and visible to others. A few minutes after you submit link to a particular category on Reddit.com check if your link is showing up in a ‘New’ section of that category. If your link is not there then your submission wasn’t successful and you can delete your link and try to submit it again later.
