Digg vs StumbleUpon vs Reddit - Why There Needs To Be “The Winner”?
After reading the article on Mashable about the competition between Digg, StubmleUpon and Reddit I just had to write my own opinion about that, and that is what was the purpose of my very own blog.
A lot of people out there who follow the trends related to social media believe that there needs to be “the winner” and others will fail.
As an pretty experienced user of Digg, Stumbleupon and Reddit I can say that none of these should fail if other “competitors” gain their own popularity.
Using Reddit, SU and Digg I have found that every of those social media services has plenty of users that are present on each of them, and plenty of people who are active in social media will confirm that they use and like each of them.
Each of them has it’s own way how it works and each of them is pretty unique.
I especially refuse to compare Digg and StumbleUpon because I believe that there is absolutely no competition between them.
StumbleUpon is way different than Digg although they both have very large number of users that are members on both sites. Reddit is also unique in it’s own way despite the fact that it has some similarities to Digg.
I believe the idea about that there needs to be “the winner” is wrong at it’s core.

good point - why a winner? It’s a win/win/win!!
Nice blog dude! It’s nice have you as a blogging buddy. Thanks!
Great blog. I couldn’t agree more overall, but it would have been a better article if you described their respective strengths and weaknesses.
@Quint
Thanks for the comment and proposition, I have some plans about writing a separated post about that very soon.
