I just tested new version of StumbleUpon and I am pretty satisfied with some new options but there are still things to complain about.

The most annoying thing in new SU design is white background. I jumped into the account settings page and I found that there are only 3 design themes that I can choose: white, black and gray. I don’t like much any of those designs. Grey and black themes are not user friendly at all and white theme is just too white for my eyes. However, since this is still beta version, I believe that StumbleUpon will come across with more attractive themes.

Colors of theme designs are the only thing that I can complain. Everything other in new version of SU is better than in previous versions.

I especially like the new option to see all users who liked some page. Also, the new thing is that you can now see more recent visitors to your profile. I searched to see the list of my friends and, as I expected, StumbleUpon did some changes there, again. They removed option to see all your mutual friends and now you can only see subscribers, subscriptions and recent visitors to your profile. That is pretty interesting and it might be little confusing for some users. I cannot see my mutual friends even when I click on “Friends” link in the Firefox SU bar.

The cool thing is that there is now hit-counter for favorites and you can see how many times some link has been viewed.

Sharing option is now more similar to same option that can be found on Facebook. There is no more option to share your favorite with all your friends by selecting option “All friends”, you have to select every friend manually if you want to share some favorite with them.

I like very much new options but design is more important to me and I am going to switch back on older version of SU for a while. I hope SU will come across with some better themes designs.
